The Association promotes education, science, research, animal welfare, training in laboratory animal medicine, and collaboration with international organizations.

To sue or be sued: The General Secretary upon instructions from the President.

To issue directions: The President of the Association.

Eligibility: B.V.Sc / M.V.Sc / Ph.D licensed under VCI. Categories: Founding Diplomates, De facto Diplomates, Diplomates, Honorary Members, Associate Members.
